The M&M’s are proud to offer a Mentoring Program for new members/first time attendees at the conference. The objective of this program is to increase the comfort level of our new folks as they attend their first OACRAO conference by pairing them up with a “seasoned” OACRAO member that will spend time at the conference helping them to get acquainted with the association and introducing them to other members that share similar interests and responsibilities.

Please be sure to check that you are a new member and/or first time attendee when you fill out your registration form so that we can include you in this wonderful program!

We would also like to call your attention to the New Member/First Time Attendees Welcome Session on Wednesday from 5:15 to 6:45pm. At this session you will have the opportunity to hear from the OACRAO Executive Committee about their role in the organization, as well as hear news from AACRAO (our national affiliate) from the Association’s President, Paul Taylor, who will be attending the conference. The OACRAO committee chairs will also be available to provide information about their committee and to answer any questions you may have about committee work. It is never too soon to get involved and joining one of our committees is a great way to start! There will also be an opportunity to pair up with your mentor for a fun game of OACRAO Bingo. The winner will receive a free registration to OACRAO ’04, in Indianapolis with the Indiana ACRAO group! Don’t miss this opportunity for some valuable information and a whole lot of fun!
